when you're on your /home/Chun (or what ever homedirectory name is...) pico .bashrc Edit the line which starts with PATH... add the path you need.. if you need /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0_01/bin you add it by putting it in the end of the line and separate the new with : so you write :/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0_01/bin to the end of that line.. Then sava by pressing ctrl+x any answer y when promting save changes... and press enter when it prompts for filename.. Hope this helps PETE Chun Ki Shin wrote:
Hi, SuSErs.. I'm running a SuSE 8.0. I have a doubt, which is, when I typed "echo $PATH" in "Shell-Konsole", I could see a bunch of stored path.....What can I do to add another PATH... where and how....?
Thanks for your help...
