rt2400-wlan on suse9.3, good connection, cannot get ip

Dear Guys, I have suse9.3 pro in my athlon64 desktop, i bought CNET's pci wireless card, and i installed rt2400 that i downloaded from the sourceforge. Connection to my wifi router is good but i cannot get the ip address from that router. My pci wlan can recognise the router but just can't get the local ip address. Thanks a million.
