I am still having trouble getting my zip configured. It is an external Iomega parallel and this is what is in /var/log/messages: ... Nov 27 02:24:08 localhost kernel: sda: sda4#
I made a /mnt/zip directory and put into /etc/fstab this line: /dev/sda/ /mnt/zip vfat users, noauto 0 0
Why don't you use the Partitioner module of YaST2? Anyway, you may use e.g. /dev/sda4 /media/zip auto noauto, user 0 0 in /etc/fstab. The reasons to use the fourth partition on the zip are historical and may be described in a ZIP drive HOWTO. To mount the zip, use "mount /media/zip" or create a KDE ZIP device icon. -- Alexandr.Malusek@imv.liu.se
