I have recently switched to IMAP, and I'm seeing a little weird issue with TB - occasionally I'll start replying to a mail, then get interrupted and save it in Drafts (or it happens automatically). WHen I resume a little later and send the mail, the copy in Drafts isn't deleted and sometimes the original mail isn't tagged as "replied to".
I am still using TB2 (not sure if Lightning works with TB3). Has anyone seeing a similar issue?
I've been using TBird for a very long while and have used it with a few different versions of IMAP. Your problem isn't with IMAP.
Hmm, I didn't have this problem until I switched to IMAP.
There were many IMAP related bugs fixed with Version 3. I recommend upgrading!
Okay, sounds like a good idea.
The described problems may also be in relation to connection problems, which makes TB loose it's communication with the draft folder. When communication is up again, another draft can be created, whilst the old one stays in the folder.
My connection is over my local LAN.
The thing is - I don't remember having to change anything to get the Draft copy/copies deleted automagically when I was using POP3.
With POP, all the drafts are stored in you local mailbox on disc, it's working completeyls different compared to you IMAP-draft folder
Sure, but for the user it ought to work/look exactly the same. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (4.8°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
