Kaffiene is using the decoder in xine to playback the DVD. Because of legal issues, SuSE decided to not ship a version that supported DVD playback, encrypted or not. There are a few upgrades that need to be made. You need to add the Packman YaST repository to your setup sources. You need to upgrade xine to the latest build, as well as a few supporting packages. You also need libdvdcss which will need to be downloaded manually. You can find a pretty good explanation and tutorial at The Jem Report web site. http://www.thejemreport.com/mambo/content/view/178/1/ I was finally able to get my 10Pro 64bit to playback DVDs after some manual srpm builds. -- Jeff Dierking jeff@lordjester.com ------------------------ GPG/PGP KeyID 0x5F355DB4 Retrieve pgp-public-keys@pgp.mit.edu?subject=get%200x5F355DB4 ------------------------ To hold a pen is to be at war. --Voltaire
