Agreed! I just DL'd the tar.gz file, put it in a directory, followed the instructions: 'make' and then 'make install'. Then edited the /etc/wvdial.conf file with my ISP tel #/user name/password. Well, I know "jack" about compiling, but it went absolutely perfect with WvDial and my SuSE5.2 on an old P-133. And it's performed flawlessly ever since.
