Hello all,
I was hoping for some help. I am running Xfree86 3.3.3, and have a STB Velocity 128 card. My card is supported under the standard SVGA server. My question is about the "speed" of the card. Everything just seems to get drawn quite a bit slower than it had in windoze. For example, the cool 3-D hacks in xscreensaver, like sproingies, or the mobius strip, are _really_ slow---so slow as to not be usable. Like 2 frames per second or something. Alll the other screensavers are okay, but I just have a felong things are going slower than they should for this card. (something to do with direct draw?)
Thanks, and Happy Holidays!!!
