I know that I have to disable that google thing, but as I can not start Thunderbird even in safe mode, I can't. Is there some file to edit or remove in order to disable that addon? ... Maybe I found it. There is a directory under .../extensions, in which the file install.rdf contains the string: <em:name>Provider for Google Calendar</em:name> This is the one causing the crash. I'll move the directory and try. ... No, it crashes. Removing this one, too: <em:name>Lightning</em:name> <em:version>4.0.5.2</em:version> <!-- BuildID=20151228123010 --> <em:description>An integrated calendar for Thunderbird</em:description> Crashes, same message. How can I really remove those two addons? cer@Telcontar:~> thunderbird --safe-mode (process:32464): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed cer@Telcontar:~> - -- Cheers Carlos E.
