have a problem with OOo 3.2 on SuSE 11.2. Simply put, it always hangs on "Save As" command. I have upgraded to 3.2.1.4 from 11.2 SuSE repository, deleted OOo prefs invisible dir inside user home directory (as was suggested on forums), even deleted Java and Gtk prefs. Nothing helped.
i've seen this for quite some time, can't remember exactly since when. OOo hangs, but after a couple minutes or two the file dialog gets populated & works. i also found that if i delay saving the new document for a few minutes, the directory caching (or whatever it is that takes so long) happens in the background and the new document saves as usual, without delay. doesn't seem to be an openSUSE issue. when i installed a dev. snapshot from OOo, the same thing happened. i'm not familiar with the openoffice bug reporting system and not planning to get into it at this time.
Anyone can suggest what to do next?
either take the matter upstream, to OOo lists / forums / bug tracker, or wait and hope it'll get sorted out eventually... -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
