xfs, no go.
Well, now I know :-)
I'm tempted to get a smallish usb3 ssd disk, formatted exfat, for the purpose. Writing a small bunch of movies to a stick to see on the TV take hours.
My TV uses XFS per default, but it can't read sticks formatted by oS:TW with the default settings ... but it works if the TV has formatted the volume, and then I can use it on the PC (I checked that 2 or 3 years ago, but I didn't use that). I guess that the TV uses certain hardcoded settings like blocksize, etc., or it relies on a "hidden" file it immediately creates after formatting.
