Hi Masaru, and thanks for responding! :-) The SiS630 can do 8-bit or 16-bit color at 1600 x 1200 resolution. There isn't enough shared memory available to support 24-bit or 32-bit color at that resolution. Also, the specs in the manual accompanying the monitor show a horizontal scan range of 31 to 70 KHz... not 28 to 70 KHz as I'd written previously. However, SaX2 under 9.3 lowered that minimum to 28 KHz and it worked. The vertical refresh rate was 54 Hz, which is just 1 Hz lower than the published minimum of 55 Hz. Thanks again!
