Right now it looks like the only shortcut using "esc" is "Close" - CTRL+W or CTRL+Esc.
When I look at the keyboard settings (under input devices,) everything looks standard; the layouts tab doesn't have any layouts configured, so I'm guessing it's using the "US" one.
It's really weird, because it _was_ working within the last couple of weeks; not sure exactly when it stopped working though unfortunately :/
