Bodo and Hubert have been saying late summer/early fall all along on SuSE 6.0, if indeed 6.0 is released instead of a libc5 based 5.3. How do you come across your information Fred? It's irresponsible to say 6.0 will be out next month unless you know with certainty that that is the case. I wish SuSE would open 6.0 up for beta testing. SuSE would benefit from the bug reports and those of us itching for a development version of 6.0 would get our wish. A win-win situation. ======================================================================= "I was playing poker the other night ... with Tarot cards. Hopefully SuSE will b glibc soon ( ;) ) so that won't be an issue.
Yes and I'll be glad to wait till all the problems that Red Hat has experienced are overcome. SuSE 6.0 is purported to be glibc and out this year. Like great wine, it worth waiting for.
SuSE 6.0 will release next month.
