Hello,
since some days (may be a week), my laptop under 13.1 boots with numlock on.
As it don't have numeric pad, this makes typing passwd difficult (I have to deactivate numlock first).
I never had this before, neither with this computer.
Yast is on no numlock as is kde4. The problem is on kdm.
what may I look for?
thanks jdd
I did two things, from lines in the openSUSE forum, don't know which do the trick... * in /usr/share/kde4/config/kdm/kdmrc add Numlock=off. There where no Numlock option listed there previously - this may not survive an update * changed in Yast/sysconfig editor/hardware/keyboard KBD_NUMLOCK from bios to off - curious it was not triggered by the option in other yast menus (that is keyboard config) thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
