I got X.org 7.1 from the packages at:

NX OpenOffice OpenOffice-quickstarter OpenOffice-kde kpowersave tightvnc xterm
Now I don't care about NX, kpowersave, tightvnc and xterm but I do need OpenOffice. And the build service does not seem to contain any OpenOffice folder where updated OpenOffice packages can be found.
Any suggestions on what I can do?
HI Shriramana, I tried the xorg7 repository too, and it would have broken my installation completely. Not only are the new packages mostly installed into /usr instead of /usr/X11R6, they also don't seem to have any rpm-tags for the XFree86 libs, which are required by quite a few of the older libs and programs installed on my pc. Generally, if you want to get around the dependencies, either ignore them or recompile the "complaining" packages. In your case that would be the OpenOffice package (and it is a b**** to compile). -- HTH Andreas -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
