Sounds nice guys, I have another related question, what about ctdb?. I know it's used for fileserver clustering, but can I have a HA PDC using that feature?. I've seen from configuration examples that with ctdb all the cluster members use the same netbios name, I wonder how does this affect PDC functions...
ctdb doesn't cover the DC functionality. It is important to NOT use ctdb on a domain controller at all. Standalone server and domain member are ok.
Well, got the same feedback from Rolf Schmidt, I guess the only available solution with two machines is to run two instances of samba in each, one for DC and one with CTDB or virtualiaze and have one domU for DC and another for CTDB...
To correct myself I have to add: You might try to run all nodes of a cluster as PDC. But you have to ensure to keep the passdb backend fully serialized. Either by using a LDAP server or tdbsam with the TDBs on a ctdb covered path.

So it might work at last?, "fully serialized rules" out multimaster-ldap?, I mean, all the cluster members should talk to the same instance of LDAP directory?
