Michael, I am sorry to see you go. You have often been a help to me and ohters here. I think you're making a mistake to take this sound card thing so hard. It could be someting the S.u.S.E. guys can fix in a day or so. It seems to me this is the whole idea of Linux. If its broke, don't throw your hands up and hit ctl+alt+delete.
