Hello,
I use to build once a week the kotd for SuSE 9.3. I have never problems with the SL93-BRANCH. But with the "i386" branch, the last kernel I was able to run is dated June the 20th. With newer kernels my USB hardware and Network card are not detected. I've upgraded mkinitrd, udev and hwinfo as told in the read.me file. Can you try to tell me what I've forgotten or where I'm wrong ?
If interested I've modified the bootsplash patch which works now with the "i386" branch.
Thanks in advance for reply.
Michel
Want to tell us the level of that kernel? 2.6.??.??
Sorry, the last working was : kernel-source-2.6.11.12-20050623094128.i586.rpm and the last tried was the one of yesterday : kernel-source-2.6.13_rc3_git4-20050720092318.i586.rpm <ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/projects/kernel/kotd/i386/HEAD/kernel-source-2.6.13_rc3_git4-20050720092318.i586.rpm> Now I 'm only able to run : kernel-source-2.6.11.4-SL93_BRANCH_20050720092439.i586.rpm Thanks in advance. Michel. PS : when I boot with the 2.6.13, neither the via686a module nor the usb modules nor the e100 modules load, I tried to add these modules to the INITRD_MODULES list they load, I've usb but not the network.
