Christoph, Thanks for the reply, I've now added in the url you have given into YaST as an additional repository but it would appear that the site is a bit overloaded, (trying to go into software management with this added to the list leaves YaST hanging for ages, (I left if for an hour), with a small popup window indicating its reading package information and downloading the file manally left it coming down at 0.3Kb a second). The package isn't on the CDs, but it's in the inst-source. Please chech out http://www.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories and/or add http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS-RC1/inst-source/ to your installation sources in YaST.
