Try to run it from konsole, or xterm to see the results.
Oops, I forgot to mention that I already tried that with the same exact results.
And there were probably some error messages in the console that may help solve your problem. Could you post them please?
There were no errors. It just sat there like the app was running. In ksysguard, it was eating up cpu cycles the same way and I had to 'kill' it. On a hunch, I downloaded the wxPython.src.rpm from wxPython website. Unfortunately I'm running into problems getting it to 'rebuild' (latest error is: strip: '/var/tmp/wxPython-buildroot/usr/lib*/python2.5/site-packages/wx-2.8*-gtk2-unicode/wx/*.so': No such file error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.32437 (%install). ) -- "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
