On my 8.2 system, I had installed some KDE eye-candy. Specifically it was a cursor set that had a distinct crystal like view. The standard cursor even seemed to spin. I could have sworn it was the "BlueGlass" set, but when I installed that, the standar cursor is quite ordinary.
This is obviously *NOT* of earth-shaking importance as the system is working fine. I would like to know what that was so that I could reinstall it. If anyone has any ideas as to what it is from my feeble description, could you let me know?
BlueGrass is correct and if you are as lucky as me it should show up in control center>peripherals>mouse>cursor theme.
Interesting. When I go to Control Center>peripherals>mouse, there is no "Cursor Theme" under any of the tabs.
Sorry I forgot to mention that I am running kde 3.2.2.
I have also just remembered something important, you have to go to Yast>system>editor for /etc/sysconfig files>desktop>X_MOUSE_CURSOR and enter Blue and with luck you should have your cursor, I hope.
I got KDE 3.2.2 running here on Suse 9.1 and have got the cursor themes under control center/peripherals/mouse/cursor theme. but no BlueGrass CrystalBlue yes .. -- G6NJR Pete otherwise known as "Quinton 11" A Linux Only area Happy bug hunting M$ clan Pete,,,,, :-)
