OK, I admit to being clueless, but this is beyond even me. I reset my BIOS to boot from the CD and then tried to re-boot, and I got the error message that there was no boot image available. I am using the S.u.S.E. CD that I got at the Linux expo in NC. Can anyone point me to some help?
I had the same problem until I flash upgraded my bios. Prior to this, even though I was supposed to be able to boot from CD-ROM, I could only boot from Windows NT's CD-no Linux CDs. After flashing the BIOS with a newer version, I can now boot from the Linux CD. Alternately, you can use the rawrite utility to make a boot floppy.
