Okay... But does this mean I must have a FAT partition or not? Just not being able to mount the NT partition isn't the end of the world. My main question here is: can I successfully install and run Linux on the remaining disc space while maintaining access to my NT installation?
Try /usr/doc/howto/mini/Linxu+NT-Loader This is a howto file but I don't know enough about NT to understand it fully. I believe the answer is a qualified-yes. It's something about leaving the MBR intact. If you don't have access to the file, send me a private email and I'll send it to you. ---------------------------------- <A HREF="http://homepages.skylink.net/~gecko/index.html"><A HREF="http://homepages.skylink.net/~gecko/index.html</A">http://homepages.skylink.net/~gecko/index.html</A</A>> -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GCS d+(-) s:+ a29 C++$ UL++>++++ P+++$ L++>++++ E?
