What tool does one user to make the correct partition (what kind is it), and what tool would be used to generate the btrfs file system? I think the latter is mkfs.btrfs, but is there a script that would create the file system and the subvolumes like those under as / under 3.2?
mkfs.btrfs
YaST2 (the installer) creates the subvolumes. I have no idea if it's scriptable, or if it leverages a scriptable backend. Of course you can script 'btrfs sub create'
But what type of partition is required? Don -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
