I have been having trouble getting suse 7.2 installed on an dual processor celeron MB, but finally was successful with yast1. I installed the SMP kernel and I get seg faults in init. So I have decided to change the kernel to a non-SMP kernel. I booted the help system and then chroot'd to /mnt where the root was mounted, and a lot of stuff is seg-faulting. I thought it might be the shared library cache causing problems so I ran ldconfig, but that did not help. Anybody have any clues? Thanks for any help.
