Virus scanner failure: /usr/bin/antivir (error code: 212)

Dear Gurus, I am using SuSE 8.0 and sendmail-8.12.2-88, amavis-sendmail-0.3.12pre5-119 and antivir-6.12.00.00-12. I've got the following message in my log file: Virus scanner failure: /usr/bin/antivir (error code: 212) Would you mind telling me how can I fix this problem? Thank you so much for your assistance.
