[opensuse] To 4k or not 4k?

I'm building a new desktop system and I want run Opensuse on it. I'm not a big gamer, but I like photos, visualization and lots of screen real estate. Does anyone have experience with 4k and Opensuse? Does it work? What are the tips and pitfalls? What hardware is the best? Thanks to all. Lance Drager
