Where can i can get/see EGCS ?
Thanks.
From memory, I think the EGCS homepage is at www.cygnus.com If not try a yahoo search for EGCS. Redhat uses EGCS as it's compiler now, but don't go trying to run it on Suse, unless you read the EGCS faq, and install glibc properly.
The easiest way to check it out, is to get a $1.50 Cheapbytes Redhat cd from www.cheapbytes.com, and install it on a separate partition. I have heard that it is not perfected yet, things like the kernel dosn't compile properly with EGCS. It will take it awhile to be as bug free as gcc. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
