There's your mistake.. Switch to /usr/src/linux make cloneconfig make prepare-all Then switch to /usr/src/kernel-modules/fglrx run KERNEL_SOURCE=/usr/src/linux make module KERNEL_SOURCE=/usr/src/linux make install depmod -a If for some reason, it doesn't put the module in /lib/modules/kernel/your.kernel.version/kernel/drivers/video copy the fglrx.ko over to this directory and run depmod -a If you need it, I've got the old directions from the 8.12.xx version that describe this.
