I went out for shopping a new graphics card and found an old GeForce 2 card at a very low price (half the money for a ATI Radeon 7500). Should i get this one?.
Its a nVIDIA card ... but do i need nVIDIA drivers or SAX2 does all the job for me? Does anyone using this card? ========================
The best way to send NVidia a message that they have lousy Linux drivers and cards is to not buy them! If they don't feel the Linux community is important enough to support, then why should we support them? Stick with those companies that support Open Source and you will get repaid with good products and good drivers! ATI, Matrox both work very well with Linux, 2d & 3d. The decision rests with the user though and how much they want to go through in getting their hardware to work or not.
