I've copied all 7 cds from Suse 8.0 Pro to an ftp server and when I try to install over the network in another box (in which I installed 7.3 over the network without problems) it goes well until Yast2 look for "software"; there it says to me: "error while initialize package descriptions. Check the log file /var/log/y2log" When I look that file I can see many errors like: Can't parse CommonPKD: /var/adm/mount/suse/setup/descr/common.pkd {does not exist} I thought was a problem of permissions, but I connect via ftp to the server in another machine with anonymous and I could get to that directory "descr" and all the files. Thanks for your advice. Best regards, Freddy Chavez.
