Is this info anhything, that can be usefull in finding the problem with my smart and SuSE10.0 ?
Not to me. You could try this:
rm /var/lib/smart/cache smart update
Does that work?
Cheers,
Leen
Thanks for the reply.
I got this:
# rm /var/lib/smart/cache lajka3:/var/spool/mail # smart update Updating cache... ########################################################################### ########### [100%]
Fetching information for 'Latest KDE 3 enviroment for released SUSE distributions (SUSE_Linux_10.1)'... -> http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE3/SUSE_Linux_10.1/repodata/re pomd.xml repomd.xml ... Computing transaction...smart update
Hmm, looks good to me. What does 'smart upgrade' do now? If it still doesn't work, maybe it's time for a bit more force: rm -r /var/lib/smart/* smart channel --add http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE3/SUSE_Linux_10.1/KDE:KDE3.rep... smart update smart upgrade Mind the line wrapping, "smart channel add http://...KDE3.repo" is 1 (one) line.
