I've got a small, annoying problem with printing in Suse 7.0. I'm using the standard apsfilter setup. I've had exactly the same problem with an old HP Laserjet III and my new Brother HL-1450 laser printers. Whenever I print to the 'raw' device I get the following character sequence printed at the top of the first page: 10;0] This happens when I'm printing from my Linux box or printing from my Windows boxes via Samba. When printing from Windows this character sequence appears at the top of the first page which is then form fed and the Windows document is printed on a new page. It basically means I'm wasting a page every time I print anything from my Windows boxes. Other than this annoyance, everything is working as it should, all my prints are OK. Does anyone have any suggestions ? Sean Akers.
