Yeah, that sounds like it, but here are some points: 1. if you can't upgrade a running system (Debian can, most others can) without BOOTING FROM THE CD or DVD, then why does YaST have the option available? 2. Half of my machines don't have CD drives, much less CDROMS, and none of them have floppy drives. A Network Install is basically the only way to upgrade them. -- Carpe diem - Seize the day.
