Hi, is the list server - lists.opensuse.org acting up? I can no longer send to, and am not receiving emails from the users, factory, kde, and packaging @lists.opensuse.org mail lists. I am using the website at lists.opensuse.org to post/start this thread cuz I can't do it from Thunderbird any more. I tried changing my password but no joy.
FYI - I ran some tests from mxtoolbox.com on my email server, nothing wrong with it...

Marc, For several years I had problems with my suddenlinkmail.com address and the mailing lists. It actually had to do with how my ISP was handling mail from the IPs that the mailing list uses. I don't recall the specifics, but IIRC Per, or Henne (or others at a.o.o after him) would make it work by setting a from IP or something similar). My IP sucked and was unable to fix the issue on their end (they now rent space on some cloud in California rather than running their own hardware in Texas anymore) That has turned getting anything fixed like this into a slow-motion nightmare. Their tech-support doesn't quite seem to have made the transition to remote adminning in someone else's cloud. Sigh... Is anything logged in the journal when you attempt to send? Postfix error? Anything that may point to where the issue is occurring? Rejections/bounces from your ISP when you try and send? Just a couple of thoughts at where I would look next. Also, is there anything else you can think of that changed when this problem started? Update just prior? Major package changes/additions? New firewall? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
