I'm having an issue trying to get Firefox (3.01 32-bit) to activate mailto links in KMail. I know I had this working in 10.2 but it doesn't seem to work in 10.3. (I should have dealt with this several months ago, but am just on it now, and have no plans to move to 11.0, even if it is louder.)
I'm running KDE 3.5.7 under 10.3 with kernel 2.6.22.18-0-2. ... Not needed ...
What am I missing? Searching seems to turn this up as what I need. http://lifehacker.com/392287/set-firefox-3-to-launch-gmail-for-mailto-links gave directions, The rest is:

I have nothing in the applications list (see attached and http://www.perfectreign.com/stuff/2008/firefox_mailto.jpg )
Did something mess up?
Kia, I had this exact problem 2-3 weeks ago and solved it with posts from the list, but I getting so damned old, I can't recall how? The problem is from a file or two in the old .mozilla/FF install being moved to your new FF directory. There were several files to delete and FF would automatically rebuild them and the problem is fixed. Do a quick search of the archive in the past 2 months and you should find it.
