Basically I have an Engenius EUB 9603H usb connected wireless device I am trying to make work on a dell dimension 4400 with 512mb memory and a 2 gig Intel processor.
I tested the hardware with the existing OS XP which I intend to replace. I was able to make the wireless work and download 13.1.
Did you download via the wireless connection? I'd be surprised to see acceptable throughput with any wireless device connected to a USB 1.1 port: Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub According to Google, the Dimension 4400 provided 0 USB 2.0 ports. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
