..................................... Dear Aplus.net customer,
referring to your phonecall to Aplus.net technical support, and request to troubleshoot the problem with email deliveries from list suse-linux-e@suse.com:
unfortunately, the IP of the send has been reported as SPAM to the Mail Abuse Prevention System. The list administrators must contact the MAPS to remove their IP from the list. After that, no mailserver using MAPS will prevent emails from them from being delivered. Please refer to the following address for more info on removing the address from the spam database: http://www.mail-abuse.com/
It's not listed in their searchable data base at least. http://www.mail-abuse.com/cgi-bin/lookup?ip_address=195.135.221.131 gives
"The IP address entered was not found on the RBL, DUL, RSS, OPS, or NML"
Thanks for checking. The folks at Aplus mentioned it being on a gray list. I've worked around the problem by using my ISP's Email which is 99% spam. So it's only made it worse for me, though spamassasin in Kmail seems to be working. My entire ISP cavtel.net is on a few spam lists also.
