I think this is more a KDE problem rather than that of the drivers.
It's a SuSE problem, not a KDE or driver problem. SuSE has a small program called 3Ddiag that is run when you run a game from the SuSE default menu. If the SuSE hardware tools don't have your card listed as capable of 3D under linux, and that is the case for the ATI cards, it will flag it. Solution: bypass the CheckHardware script by editing the menu item to run the game directly. Anders
