Never noticed this behaviour... but I am using earlier 0.2.x variant not 0.3.0 (I use IMAP so this 0.3.0 would be a bad idea)...
BTW, sending 100K attachments to a list I would regard as slightly anti-social at best... individually really only really acceptable if and only if you cannot put it somewhere others are in a position to access it from...
