Hello;
I have an old SuSE 9.1 CD that I would like to boot from. When I go to the Rescue installation it boots to a non-graphic terminal (I think run level 3). Can someone tell me how to start kde from the command line?
Thanks
startx
Of course if you want it to always start with a desktop, you can edit /etc/inittab and change id:3:initdefault: to id:5:initdefault:.
Sorry, I thought you were referring to an installed system, not rescue mode.
Thanks anyway! -- Tony Alfrey tonyalfrey@earthlink.net "I'd Rather Be Sailing" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
