Hi, I downloaded KDE 2.2.2 from one of the German mirrors ( I think it was ftp://ftp.rz.uni-wuerzburg.de/pub/linux/MIRROR.suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_7.2 ) about 2 days ago and since then KDE 2.2.2 has been officially released. See http://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-2.2.2.html and http://dot.kde.org/1006384488/ Problem is that the announcement recommends against QT 2.3.2 but the SuSE RPMs for SuSE Linux 7.2 use QT 2.3.2 ( qt-2.3.2-10.rpm ) Does anyone here understand the problem with QT 2.3.2 ? See http://dot.kde.org/1006384488/1006450484/1006454183/ for some discussion. I have seen some strange behaviour from Konqueror with KDE 2.2.2 and QT 2.3.2. Mostly extreme slowness in redrawing the screen while loading from a URL, to the point of seeming to hang or actually hanging. I have also seen drop down and popup lists remain on screen longer than they should. Should I downgrade to QT 2.3.1 from (eg.) http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/pub/kde/stable/2.2/SuSE/i386/7.2/qt-2.3.1-26.i386.rpm ? If I should downgrade, then should SuSE withdraw QT 2.3.2 and reinstate QT 2.3.2 at http://www.suse.com/us/support/download/linuks/i386/update_for_7_2/base.html ? Thanks
