What is the proper procedure for installing the wvdial rpm from SuSE? I downloaded it, installed with YaST, and get a "can't load library 'libstdc++.so.2.9'" when conf invoked.
Any help would be appreciated. TIA
My only suggestion is to download the full source .tgz package and compile it yourself. It is easy. 3 steps: configure make make install I'm guessing you have an rpm made for redhat, with glibc. If you compile it yourself, you are sure to get a libc5 version. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
