hi all,
on 10.1, i am having a wonderful time trying to get a spreadsheet to print out correctly.
i have installed on another pc (debian) an hp 3940 deskjet using the .ppd file specifically for this printer. i access the printer with cups. (no problems there)
i have no problems printing using any other application, but when trying to print a spreadsheet, it is cutting off the left side of it, maybe an inch and a half or so.
i tried shrinking the printout from properties anywhere from 25-50%, this does no good, doesnt even work properly, it still prints the same size no matter what i have the % set at.
any idea how to run the ooo printer configuration utility? supposedly called "spadmin" ive been googling for the last hour and cant find anything about ooo 2.0 for suse and printing configuration utility.
all ive been finding is that suse doesnt include it in the menu system for ooo, and the program "spadmin" is not in my usr/ bin directory where ooo is, or anywhere else in my filesystem.
i am using ooo 2.0.2.7.1
any clues?
