Try "mkfs" (make filesystem) which reformats your partition. It's the equivalent to "format" under DOS/Windows
Will that reformat the drive in the same way. ie ext3 or reiser? Or can I change that w/the format command? Thanks, -Trey
It is far easier to use Yast. Yast -> system -> Partitioner Just make sure the partion you want to format is not mounted, and check /etc/fstab before and after formating. If you do not specify a mount point when you format the partition there will be no entry in /etc/fstab. -- Regards, Graham Smith ---------------------------------------------------------
