What I did was use KUPS. If you run the detection tool that is part of it..it will then go out and basically find services listening on port 9100. It might come back as "unknown printer" which you can then modify to have it named as you wish and use the driver you wish. :) You can also use the built http server that cups comes with by going to http://localhost:631 and go through all the configs that way. * SuSE Mailing List (suse@hellarave.com) [020616 11:11]: :: ::I am trying to connect to an HP 8100 network printer.
