Have you checked out the cost of the toner cartridges and their availability?
Good point. One of the links I found at the HP site listed the exact part numbers of the toner cartridge the printer would accept. And they are expensive. Looking again at the "HP LaserJet Pro MFP M280nw" printer, a 203X cartridge (black) is 116.90€ at HP site ((3200 pages). The 203A cyan cartridge is 92.90€ (1300 pages; the 203X cyan makes 2500 pages). The site warns that the printer has a security feature that blocks usage of third party cartridges that do not have a certain chip. Security feature, they say. Also "anti-fraud technology". The HP site lists a bunch of possible cartridges in different capacities: 1400 pages, 3500, or 3200. The printer comes with "courtesy" cartridges with half capacity. I'm looking at the Spanish site: <https://store.hp.com/SpainStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=T6B80A&opt=B19&sel=PRN> -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.3 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)
