Hi, I've recently recompiled my kernel to use built-in devices opposed to modules. While using modules I was able to configure 2 network cards on my system (SMC & 3Com) now no matter what I do the second card refuse to be recognized. I've read the HOWTOs and implemented the changes in my lilo.conf (append = "ether=0,0,eth1 ether=0,0,eth2 ether=0,0,eth3") to recognize up to four cards but I doesn't work. I've tried to use 'append = "ether=11,0x300,eth1 " which I know works with the module kernel but again no go for the built-in kernel. Any help would be appreciated.
