Hello, my log.smb file is filled with messages like "Unknown socket option SO_KEEPALIVE". Neither in calling smbd (/sbin/init.d/smb) nor in my config file IŽve given the parameter. Curiously more, after I tried to add socket options = TCP_NODELAY, this option was Unknown as well. After I removed it from smb.conf and restarted smbd, I found these messages again. Is there another config file? And, how can I enable these options? (so. claimed TCP_NODELAY were a good setting for Linux, I do not find it mentioned in "man getsockopt". I do however find SO_KEEPALIVE and start to be perfectly lost. Any experiences out there??
