Anders Johansson:
Well, you are using something other than 11.0.
;) 11.0 is what I installed. sysinfo:/ says System openSUSE 11.0 (i586) KDE: 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.0 (4.1 >= 20080722)) "release 26.5" Believe me, I'm not impressed by the version string either, but hey. Like I said: for KDE4 I use the factory repo which could be asking for trouble, granted.
I still think it is a problem with those particular packages, and you should report it on opensuse-kde to the people who build them.
Will do.
You should probably also go through your KDE packages, to make sure that all are at the same version level.
I'd assume they are. KDE4 update mode here is I look at schemata and select "Update all that are available". But ...
Often with problems of this sort, the problem is that some packages didn't get updated in the installation source (note, it's not that you didn't install what was available, it's that not everything was available)
... this could have interfered. How would I check? Wouldn't "going through my KDE packages" be a pretty nightmarish experience? Anders, thanks for your tips so far, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
